As a holder of the certification, you understand the value of continued learning and keeping up to date in the fast-paced field of sports data, sports ethics, privacy, intellectual property and/or sports digital. Therefore, all Certification Holders need to complete a minimum of 10 Continued Professional Development (CPD) hours each year which can be completed in many ways. 

What qualifies?

Your CPD activities can include a combination of the following:

Formal:

  • Conferences or seminars
  • Work and on-the-job experience
  • Courses
  • Tertiary (university) courses
  • In-house training
  • Written technical publications

Informal:

  • Technical reading
  • Meet-Ups
  • Mentoring
  • Hands-on practice

What’s not included?

Activities that do not directly improve your professional knowledge in sports data, digital, analytics and technologies.
